High school youth may participate in area teen council, state teen council, and state leadership boards in their area of interest while developing leadership skills. See descriptions and links below for more information:

Area Teen Council:

Teens can serve as representatives on the Purchase Area Teen Council and assist in planning teen trips and events.

State Teen Council:

Teens may apply to serve on the State Teen Council and assist in planning and implementing events like Teen Conference and Teen Summit.

Performing Arts Troupe:

Youth in high school that enjoy singing, dancing, and playing instruments can try out for this awesome opportunity to practice and perform with this group at state-level 4-H events.

Shooting Sports Ambassadors:

Teens who have completed Shooting Sports Coach certification workshops may apply to serve. Ambassadors market shooting sports programs and help with state-level events.

Fashion Leadership Board:

Teens interested in fashion, sewing, and needlework may apply to serve on this board. Members teach workshops and promote 4-H fashion programming.

Science, Engineering, and Technology Board:

Teens may apply to assist with and promote 4-H STEM programs in their district and throughout the state.
